John McMurran was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and was the Principal Cornet player of the 55th Old Boys’ Band and the Templemore Band, before moving abroad with work in 1997. He has performed with several brass bands, including the famous Desford Colliery Band during their town to Singapore in 2011.

 

John is currently a Finance Director in a global IT company.
